Esleh King Eider Standing Wheelchair

The Esleh King Eider Standing Wheelchair is a multifunctional powered standing wheelchair designed to provide seated mobility, supported standing, adjustable positioning, and rehabilitation-oriented functionality in a single system. Its electric standing structure allows the user to transition from a seated position toward an upright standing posture, making it easier to reach higher objects, change body position, and perform supported standing activities.

The standing function is designed to provide more than basic mobility. The manufacturer describes it as supporting leg-muscle exercise and activation of muscles and bones, while regular changes in position may also help with comfort and daily care for users who spend extended periods in a wheelchair. These functions should be used according to the user's individual medical and rehabilitation requirements.

The King Eider is built from high-strength steel with a black surface coating for durability and weather resistance. An independent centre-mounted double-spring shock-absorber system helps improve ride comfort and stability, particularly during longer journeys and when travelling over suitable uneven surfaces.

The backrest can be continuously adjusted from approximately 95° to 135°, allowing different positions for movement, resting, reading, eating, and other daily activities. A four-point safety belt provides additional torso support, while the headrest height can be adjusted using a locking mechanism.

The rear-folding armrests feature skin-friendly PU pads and approximately 26–27 cm of height adjustment. They can be folded and locked quickly to make transfers easier. The foot-support system includes both pedals and lower-leg supports to improve leg positioning and restraint.

The King Eider uses large polyurethane tyres designed for indoor and outdoor flooring such as wood, concrete, and tile. Anti-tilt auxiliary wheels provide additional protection against tipping when standing or travelling uphill.

A dynamic PG controller allows forward, reverse, turning, lighting, warning functions, continuously adjustable speed, battery-level display, and low-battery alerts. An electric push-rod system controls backrest movement, leg elevation, and the standing/sitting mechanism.

The wheelchair is powered by two 320W motors and can be switched between hand/manual and electric operation. Its 24V 55Ah battery system provides approximately 20–22 km of stated range, while the wheelchair can climb slopes of up to 12°. With a 43 cm seat width, 46 cm seat depth, and 150 kg all-up weight specification, the King Eider is designed for users requiring advanced standing support, powered mobility, and adjustable positioning.
