Esleh 958 LBJC Cerebral Palsy Wheelchair

The Esleh 958 LBJC is a pediatric cerebral palsy wheelchair designed specifically for children with medium to serious cerebral palsy who require additional postural support, positioning, and comfort during daily mobility. Its modular construction allows the wheelchair to be assembled, folded, and disassembled conveniently, making it easier for caregivers to transport and store.

The wheelchair uses an ultra-lightweight aluminium-alloy frame with an epoxy powder-coated finish. Once folded, the frame weighs approximately 11 kg, helping make the wheelchair easier to handle and transport.

A tilt-in-space seating system allows the seat angle to be adjusted while helping maintain the child's relative position within the seating system. This can assist with pressure redistribution and changes in the centre of gravity. The fixed seat and backrest system is also designed to allow future upgrades as the child's needs change.

For postural support, the 958 LBJC features a height-adjustable and detachable headrest, trunk support, and additional cushioning around the arms, head, calf, and leg areas. The hydraulic reclining high back provides additional positioning flexibility, while the hydraulic seat-angle adjustment allows the seating position to be adapted to the child's requirements.

The detachable armrests and footrests make transfers and handling easier. The elevated and swinging footrests allow the leg angle to be adjusted, while the elevated footrest can help support the legs in a raised position.

For safety, the wheelchair includes a safety belt, lever and paddle brakes, anti-tip wheels, and maintenance-free solid rear wheels. The detachable seat and back pads can also make cleaning and maintenance more convenient.

The wheelchair has a 15-inch seat width and 17-inch seat length, with an open width of 22 inches. Its folding width is approximately 14 inches, helping reduce storage space requirements. The Esleh 958 LBJC is intended for pediatric users with cerebral palsy and should be fitted and adjusted according to the child's individual postural and mobility requirements.
