ResMed AirFit F40 Full Face Mask

The ResMed AirFit F40 is a minimal-contact full face mask designed for use with prescribed CPAP and bilevel positive airway pressure therapy. Its UltraCompact design uses an under-the-nose cushion that provides coverage for both the nose and mouth while maintaining a low-profile interface.

The mask features a soft AdaptiSeal silicone cushion, a fully flexible frame, QuietAir diffused venting, magnetic clips, and a quick-release elbow with a short tube. The silicone cushion is designed to adapt to the contours of the face, while the flexible frame allows the mask to accommodate movement during sleep.

The low-profile design provides an open field around the eyes and is designed to allow greater freedom of movement during sleep. The short tube helps reduce tube drag, while magnetic clips make the mask easier to put on and remove. QuietAir venting diffuses exhaled air through the vent system.

The AirFit F40 is available with Small Wide, Medium, and Large cushion sizes, along with Small, Standard, and Large headgear sizes. It has a therapy pressure range of 4–30 cmH₂O and is not compatible with ResMed AirMini. The complete mask system includes the mask frame, full face cushion, headgear, elbow, short tube, and QuietAir vent.
