Löwenstein CARA Full Face Mask

The Löwenstein CARA Full Face Mask is a full face interface designed for use with prescribed CPAP and compatible positive airway pressure therapy. Its cushion covers the nose and mouth and is designed to conform closely to individual facial contours without requiring a forehead cushion.

The mask features a soft and supple precision-fit cushion, a small and quiet diffuse exhalation system, adjustable headgear, and a ball-and-socket joint with 360° and 3D rotation. The exhalation system is designed to diffuse airflow away from the user and bed partner while its closed upper section helps direct airflow away from the eyes.

The lightweight construction is designed for comfortable extended use, while the color-coded headgear makes fitting and assembly straightforward. The rotating ball-and-socket connection provides freedom of movement between the mask and breathing circuit during sleep.

The CARA Full Face is available in Small, Medium, Large, and XL sizes. It has a therapy pressure range of 4–25 hPa, a 22 mm male tube connection, and a service life of up to 12 months for mask components. The mask is manufactured by Löwenstein Medical Technology in Germany.
