The accompanying electric pump provides adjustable pressure control and offers both alternating and static modes. Static mode keeps the mattress uniformly inflated when a stable surface is preferred, while the CPR function allows rapid deflation when emergency chest compressions are required.

A low-pressure warning indicator helps alert caregivers when the mattress pressure is insufficient. The pump operates quietly and includes a hook for convenient attachment to a compatible hospital bed.
